Program Assistance Letter (PAL) 2008-06: Background and Purpose of the Performance Measure Implementation for Health Center Program Grantees
Provides background information on HRSA/BPHC's rationale for incorporating the new clinical performance measures into the Health Center Program, and explains how the specific data measures will be collected and used. The PAL also highlights the technical assistance and training on these new measures, specifically in conjunction with the Calendar Year 2008 Uniform Data System and the Fiscal Year 2009 Service Area Competition and Budget Period Renewal funding opportunities.

Changes in the Uniform Data System (UDS) for Calendar Year 2008

2008 UDS Reporting Manual
The Manual includes a brief introduction to the UDS, instructions for submitting the UDS, definitions of terms as they are used in the UDS and detailed instructions for completing each table. Where relevant, the table-specific instructions also include a set of "Questions and Answers", addressing issues that are frequently raised when completing the tables.
