Public Policy
OACHC's public policy and advocacy efforts are dedicated to promoting the value of Community Health Centers to Ohio's elected officials, both on the state and federal levels. OACHC staff work closely with members of Congress, the Ohio General Assembly and other government agencies, including the Ohio Department of Health and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), to provide input on legislation and policies of interest to Community Health Centers.
To assist in these efforts OACHC utilizes an internet-based database to strengthen grassroots efforts and ensure individuals’ voices are heard as strong and loud as they can be; visit “Advocate Resources” for more information.
