Randy Runyon
- President and CEO ext. 222
Randy is the President and CEO of the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC). His job is to ensure that OACHC achieves its strategic goals and objectives. Randy joined OACHC in August of 2010 and was previously the Assistant Executive Director of the Community Action Committee of Pike County. Randy Runyon has spent 35 years working with Community Health Centers and community development issues all across Ohio. He has also served on numerous boards and commissions addressing issues that affect Appalachian Ohio. Mr. Runyon has served on the OACHC Board of Directors since 2000.

Jennifer Bowers
- Director of Finance ext. 225
Jennifer has been the Director of Finance at OACHC since 2002. She oversees all financial management of the organization including developing budgets and financial policies, compliance with state and federal fiscal regulations and grant programs. Prior to working at OACHC, Jennifer worked for the Union County Health Department as a Fiscal Officer. She holds a B.S. from Franklin University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Ohio.

Jennifer Bulugaris

Jennifer is responsible for planning and implementing OACHC’s conferences and training sessions, overseeing the Corporate Partner Program, as well as managing OACHC’s website content. Prior to being a stay-at-home mom to her two young children she worked as an event planner for a private investment group and a non-profit organization in small business and economic development. Jennifer has her B.S. from Middle Tennessee State University.

Julie DiRossi-King
- Director of Government Affairs ext. 226
Julie is the Director of State Government Affairs. She continues to develop relationships with members of the General Assembly and the Administration, advocating and advancing OACHC’s legislative priorities at the state level. She also coordinates the association’s grassroots efforts, which allows the OACHC membership to effectively communicate with their elected representatives. Prior to joining OACHC Julie served as the Legislative Liaison for Governor Bob Taft overseeing all health and human services issues, was the legislative aide to former State Representative Merle Grace Kearns (R-Springfield) and also worked in the Ohio Dental Association’s legislative division. Julie has a B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Heather Porter
- Director of Community Development ext. 229
As the Director of Community Development, Heather works with organizations and communities to develop Federally Qualified Health Centers and provides technical assistance regarding grant opportunities, community needs and FQHC 101 sessions. She also manages membership services while overseeing the clinical and quality improvement initiatives including patient centered medical home recognition. Heather has previous experience working as a Clinical Coordinator for a large school of nursing and prior as a Billing and Compliance Coordinator for the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Heather has her Master’s in Public Administration and her Bachelor of Science in Health/Community Health Services from Ohio University. She is also CHES certified.

Jennifer Higgins

Jennifer Higgins joined OACHC in January 2012 as the Director of Workforce Development. Jennifer will be partnering with organizations throughout the nation to increase the visibility of opportunities within CHC’s in Ohio. Part of her job in 2012 will be to assist in the redesign of the website career portal and to build strong partnerships with hospitals, professional schools and CHC’s in Ohio. Prior to working at OACHC, she was the Director of HR for a community health center organization in central Ohio. Jennifer has a dual B.S. from Franklin University in HR Management and Business Administration.

Nancy Terwoord, R.N., B.S., C.P.H.Q.

Nancy Terwoord has 30 years of progressive leadership experience in health care. Nancy joined us from working at Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton as practice manager and quality coordinator. She had been there since July 2009. She holds a B.S. in management of nursing services from Mount St. Joseph College in Cincinnati. She is certified in professional health care quality and is a licensed registered nurse. Nancy has been a member of the Greene County Board of Health since 2005 and is currently the East Great Lakes Regional Director on the National Association of Local Boards of Health. Nancy has served on the Fairborn City Council and also as Fairborn deputy mayor. Nancy is also active in the Ohio Association for Healthcare Quality, having served as President and is on the Board of the National Association for Healthcare Quality as Director at Large.

Susan Lawson

As the Early Childhood Oral Health Program Coordinator, Susan works with the FQHC's to promote The Health Path Foundation of Ohio's fluoride varnish program. She also provides technical support, training and education to integrate it into the health center's patient care processes. Susan previously worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital where she worked with Dr. Paul Casamassimo, DDS on a NHI grant. Susan has a BS of Education from The Ohio State University, and has a Master's in Human Resource Management.

Karen Milner

Karen Milner joined OACHC in December of 2010 as the Administrative Assistant. Promoted to the Office Manager, her main focus is managing the association’s day to day operations. Prior to joining OACHC, Karen worked as a Lead Teacher for Columbus Metropolitan Area Community Action Organization and a Safety Net Instructor for the Columbus City Schools. She is currently enrolled at Ohio Christian University where she is pursuing a B.S. in Business Management.

Jennifer Sanders

Jennifer L. Sanders is the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. She is a graduate from the Bowling Green State University and is currently working on her Masters in Communication from Franklin University. Jennifer has taken on the role of Program Coordinator for the Community HealthCorps Program. Part of her job will also be working on various recruitment and retention programs including residency visits, attending local recruitment fairs, and working with our recruitment database.

Megan Bourque

Megan Bourque joined OACHC in June 2011 as the Conference and Training Coordinator. Megan is responsible for collaborating in the planning, implementation, and marketing of OACHC conferences. She assists in the education and training events and webinars. She's also responsible for updating and improving the OACHC website, as well as enacting and managing all social media marketing. Prior to working at OACHC, she was the Process Improvement Manager for a web based retailer. Megan has her B.S. from Kent State University.
