The Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act In this workshop, we dig deep into the maze of rules and regulations regarding immunity and the principles of coverage.

FTCA Deeming
The deeming application process is fraught with challenges. Knowing how to complete a deeming application by providing the information that reviewers will be looking for will go a long way toward making the application process less stressful and more effective. Here we review the key issues in the deeming application process.

FTCA Claims Process
What happens when a patient files an FTCA claim?   Or worse, what happens when a patient sues you? Here we examine the details of the FTCA claim process and how to manage all aspects of it.

FTCA Case Law
Since its inception in 1992, there have been a number of important cases
decided by federal courts that  directly affect the FTCA program. In this
workshop, we will review the most  important cases and their  implications
for your  health  center

Gap Insurance
What is gap insurance and do you need it? We discuss the types of insurance that are available and some of the issues health centers should take into account in making a decision on gap insurance.

FTCA Site Visits
HRSA has implemented random targeted FTCA site visits.  We study the site visit protocol and how HRSA is currently implementing it.
Recommendations on working with and/or surviving FTCA site visit reviewers are explored.
