"The Circleville City School Foundation recently awarded three “Make a Difference” Scholarships for the 2016-17 school year. The “Make A Difference “ Scholarship was established to encourage the pursuit of a post-secondary degree, certification or license for a Circleville High School graduate from the previous school year or earlier. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of donors during the current school year and the success of the CCSF “Raise Your Paw” auction in February.
"Hannah Baker, CHS class of 2015, is studying communications/pre-dental at the Ohio State University. Hannah recently went on a dental outreach trip with volunteers to the Dominican Republic, providing a dental clinic to locals at no cost. Hannah plans to obtain her degree from the Ohio State University and continue on to dental school. She works part-time on campus as well as volunteers at a nonprofit dental clinic for children called KidSmiles. Hannah is the daughter of Bobbie Baker.
"Katherine Derexson, CHS class of 2014, is pursuing a nursing career through the Mount Carmel College of Nursing. Katherine is a Student Ambassador, resident advisor and sits on the Student and Alumni Affairs committee. She works part-time at the Lower Lights Christian Health Center, which provides primary care regardless of a person’s ability to pay. Katherine is the daughter of Scott and Wendy Derexson..."
