"What time is the right time to talk to your children about alcohol?

The answer is ... It is never too early to talk with your children about alcohol. Around the age of 9 is when children first start having thoughts and questions about alcohol. As they continue to develop socially, they become more exposed to alcohol and more susceptible to using it.

By the age of 15, many young people are already drinking and possibly have had health issues with alcohol. It can also lead to other serious consequences such as poor grades in school, unsafe sexual activity, drug use, and even injury or death from accidents..."
