Reporting Ventilator Inventory

Yesterday, March 31, Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Amy Acton, issued an order requiring all entities with ventilators to report their inventory by no later than 5:00 p.m. each Wednesday beginning today, April 1, until further notice. View the Order Here

The order defines ventilator as a machine, equipment or device designed to move breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breathing assistance to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or has difficulty breathing.

This includes machines such as:

• Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)
• Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure (BPAP)
• Anesthetic Machine
• Medical Ventilator
• Bag Valve Mask
• Nasal Cannula
• Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA)
• Endotracheal Tube
• Tracheostomy Tubes, Trach Tubes, or Tracheal Tubes

Entities including Community Health Centers should report their inventory as appropriate online here.
