Process to Request State COVID-19 Tests

The state of Ohio has been allocating testing supplies to local jurisdictions during the past few months. ODH is now transitioning from the allocation process to a formal request process through county Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs). As resource needs continue to be identified by health departments and healthcare providers, please reach out to request specimen collection kits or additional testing resources related to COVID-19 as soon as you or any of your partners need additional supplies.

To request resources from ODH, please follow the procedures in the How to Request Resources Through Your County EMA document and use the electronic ODH-Adapted JCS 213 Resource Request (RR) form. This will ensure the ability of the ODH Receipt, Store, Stage (RSS) warehouse to expedite all requests. Resource requests will be filled based on the availability.

This is a new process rolled out by the state, and as always appreciate your feedback as you may engage down this path of obtaining state testing kits.
